The college is affiliated to Bengaluru City University, Recognized by Government of Karnataka. The field of Speech and Hearing is considered as one of the most noble professions which is very monumental in identifying and rehabilitating individuals with communication disorders. It plays a major role in community-based rehabilitation. The Speech and Hearing professionals are largely involved in serving the differently abled community. With the notion to start a college, that is solely dedicated to providing quality education and empathetic clinical services to individuals with communication disorders, MVM College of Speech and Hearing was envisioned.

Conductive hearing loss occurs when sound waves cannot efficiently pass through the outer or middle ear to the inner ear.

Sensorineural hearing loss

Sensorineural hearing loss is caused by damage to the inner ear or the auditory nerve, affecting the transmission of sound signals to the brain.

Mixed hearing loss

Mixed hearing loss is a combination of conductive and sensorineural hearing loss, involving problems in both the outer & middle ear & the inner ear.
