Conductive hearing lossConductive hearing loss occurs when sound waves cannot efficiently pass through the outer or middle ear to the inner ear.

Sensorineural hearing lossSensorineural hearing loss is caused by damage to the inner ear or the auditory nerve, affecting the transmission of sound signals to the brain.

Mixed hearing lossMixed hearing loss is a combination of conductive and sensorineural hearing loss, involving problems in both the outer & middle ear & the inner ear.
